Compared with PVC cables, cross linked polyethylene cables have higher carrying capacity, stronger overload capacity and longer service life (the thermal life of PVC cables is generally 20 years when the environment is good, while that of XLPE cables is generally 40 years).

The material of  cross linked polyethylene cable has excellent anti-aging properties and super heat deformation determines the crosslinking polyethylene cable in the normal operating temperature (90 ℃), short-term (130 ℃) and under the condition of short circuit (250 ℃) allow large current to pass. Therefore, it can significantly improve the performance of PVC insulated cables.
